The Gospel of Jesus Christ
The good news of what God has done in Christ, and his call to repent and believe.
God is holy and good. We have sinned against him and cannot make ourselves right by our own works. Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became truly human, lived without sin, died in the place of sinners, and rose bodily from the dead. God freely forgives and counts righteous everyone who turns from sin and trusts in Christ alone.
Our need: all have sinned
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."

A Prayer of Repentance and Faith
Merciful God, I confess that I have sinned against You and cannot make myself right. I believe that Jesus Christ, Your Son, died for sinners and rose from the dead. I turn from my sin and trust in Christ alone for forgiveness and righteousness. By Your grace, lead me by Your Spirit to follow Jesus as Lord. Amen.
This prayer does not save you; Jesus Christ does. Prayer is simply one way to express repentance and faith. If you are trusting in Christ, continue in his Word and seek a faithful local church.
